Russie - Des fans de football ont prévu de se rendre en Angleterre, où les risques de contamination par la grippe A sont plus élevés qu'en Russie. Pour remédier à cela, ils ont une solution très personnelle : le whisky.
Le président d?un club de supporters de football russe a poussé ses abonnés à boire du whisky en prévention de leur déplacement en septembre prochain au Pays de Galles pour un match de qualification de la coupe du Monde de football. Selon lui, le whisky est un excellent désinfectant qui devrait éviter à ceux qui en consomment d?être infectés par le virus de la grippe A/H1N1. Si un médecin russe a conseillé à ses concitoyens d?éviter de voyager vers la Grande-Bretagne, les fans de football ne comptent pas renoncer au voyage.
L?Agence pour la protection de la santé en Grande-Bretagne a annoncé que le nombre de nouveaux cas de grippe avait atteint les 110 000 la dernière semaine de juillet. Cinquante-cinq cas ont été confirmés en Russie.
